The Lead Tutor is responsible for providing immediate,
on-site assistance and supervision during instructional
sessions.
Primary Accountabilities/ Deliverables:
Provide assistance with procuring parent signatures on Parent/District/Provider Agreements
Gather students immediately after school and ensure that they are attending instructional sessions
Administer snacks
Monitor student and instructor attendance
Monitor effectiveness of instructional sessions
Hold parent conferences when necessary
Collect and distribute student progress reports to school and district officials
Offer support and answer instructor questions
Education, Certifications, and Work Related Experiences:
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Teaching Certificate
Elementary or middle school teaching/tutoring experience
Technical Skills and Competencies:
Possess strong oral and written communication skills
Possess strong student management skills
Works both independently and as part of a team
Display effective multi-tasking and time management skills
Maintain regular email communication
Ability to interpret student assessment data
Working Conditions:
The Lead Tutor will work in public school
settings. They must be present from the time
that students are dismissed from the regular
school day until the completion of each instructional
session.
