Program Support Specialist |

Position Description: |
| The Program Support Specialist is responsible for providing assistance with recruitment, enrollment and retention of eligible students. |
|
|
|
| |
Primary Accountabilities/ Deliverables: |
 |
Assist with recruiting eligible students including Provider Fairs and other marketing activities |
 |
Contact parents to schedule students for diagnostic testing |
 |
Develop Individualized Learning Plans, including measurable objectives, based on diagnostic assessment results |
 |
Procure parent signatures on Parent/District/Provider Agreements |
 |
Establish student placements based on diagnostic assessment results and parent/teacher input |
 |
Data entry: input student information into student information system, Individualized Learning Plan details, attendance, student assessment data |
 |
School site visits |
 |
Assist with training activities |

Education, Certifications, and Work Related Experiences: |

|
Bachelor’s degree or higher |

|
Teaching Certificate |

|
Elementary or middle school teaching/tutoring experience |
|
|
|
| |
Technical Skills and Competencies: |

|
Possess strong oral and written communication skills |

|
Operational knowledge of the Internet and web-related technologies |

|
Works both independently and as part of a team |

|
Display effective multi-tasking and time management skills
Ability to interpret student assessment data |

Maintain regular email communication |

Utilize Huxtable Education Group’s student information management system |

Working Conditions: |
| Program Support Specialists do most of their tasks from their home office. They are expected to occasionally drive to public schools to assist with recruiting students, meet with parents to procure PDPA’s, and monitor instruction. |
